What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Payable Operations: Review and process employee expense reimbursements and vendor invoices for proper coding, assisting with weekly payment file preparation.
• Monthly Financial Close: Prepare journal entries and conduct account reconciliations as part of the monthly general ledger financial close process.
• Asset and Audit Support: Maintain fixed assets module records and depreciation schedules, compiling supporting schedules for annual audits.
• Operational Assistance: Resolve discrepancies with vendors, assist with accounts payable inquiries, and support accounting system upgrade testing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with an understanding of general accounting principles.
• Experience: 0-2 years of accounting experience, including familiarity with accounting ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, problem-solving abilities, integrity in handling confidential information, effective communication, and an analytical mindset.
• Bonus: Prior internships or direct Accounts Payable/General Ledger experience.
