What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Assist with the preparation and accurate posting of various journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform comprehensive account reconciliations across different ledgers, thoroughly investigating and resolving any identified discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
• Close Support: Actively support both month-end and year-end close processes, contributing to timely and accurate financial reporting deadlines.
• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain precise and organized financial records, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and readily accessible for review.
• Compliance and Analysis: Review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with established company policies, while also assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required for this position. This is an entry-level role that demands a strong foundational understanding of basic accounting principles and comprehensive financial reporting.
• Experience: Requires 0-1 year of professional accounting experience; internship experience will be thoughtfully considered as relevant. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical, including the ability to utilize complex formulas and perform data analysis effectively.
• Skills: Possesses strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage diverse accounting tasks. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Exhibits effective written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Prior experience with various accounting software platforms is considered a significant plus for this role.
