What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Accounts Payable: Efficiently process and reconcile Accounts Payable invoices, actively monitoring aging, unapproved, and unbilled reports to ensure accurate vendor payments and effective cash flow management.
• Support Accounts Receivable: Provide crucial assistance with Accounts Receivable analysis and collections, applying customer payments, making deposits, and reconciling credit card transactions to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Generate Financial Reports: Prepare a range of daily, monthly, and ad hoc financial and operational reports, delivering valuable data and insights to support informed business decisions.
• Contribute to Month-End Close: Actively support the comprehensive month-end close process, performing thorough account reconciliations and contributing to accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with Financial Planning & Audits: Lend support to critical financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, year-end audits, and the preparation of 1099 reporting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, providing a foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience: Requires 1-2 years of practical accounting experience, demonstrating direct exposure to financial operations. Prior experience utilizing ERP systems is essential, with a preference for candidates familiar with Eclipse.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and financial analysis functions. Strong communication skills are necessary for clear interaction, alongside excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple financial tasks effectively. The role also requires the ability to collaborate successfully with management and staff across various levels of the organization.
• Bonus: While not strictly required, CPA eligibility is preferred and indicates a commitment to professional growth and advanced accounting knowledge.
