About the Job: Software Engineering Intern

General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has an exciting opening for a Software Engineering Intern to join their team in Manassas, Virginia. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country, working on projects that underpin our nation’s fundamental defense services. Interns will collaborate with esteemed customers and a talented team to develop high-stakes national security solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline.
• Preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.

Clearance Requirements

• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary Information

Target salary range: USD $27.50/Hr. – USD $27.50/Hr.
