Marketing & Social Media Intern | Anderson Communities
The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Anderson Communities, located in Lexington, KY. Anderson Communities builds lifestyle communities that feature nature trails, common green spaces, and convenient locations, offering townhomes, apartments, and commercial properties. This role is a wonderful opportunity for a bright-minded and creative individual to gain valuable experience in social media marketing, build a strong brand presence, and contribute to the company’s growth while continuing their education.

• Tech Stack: Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Campaign Execution: Assist with the design and execution of marketing campaigns on various social media platforms.
• Content Creation & Distribution: Create and distribute content on company social media platforms using Sprout Social and Meta Business Suite.
• Performance Tracking: Track social media engagement to identify high-performing campaigns and inform future strategies.
• Strategy Development: Assist the Marketing Manager with developing new marketing strategies to increase engagement.
• Brand Cohesion & Support: Brainstorm and research ideas for original content, create compelling graphics, ensure brand message is consistent, and coordinate with department managers and marketing vendors for various marketing needs, including ordering materials and planning media campaigns.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level individual pursuing a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); ability to contribute at least 15-20 hours per week in intervals of four hours or more.
• Skills: Stellar written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude and willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency in completing projects and executing events.
