College of Fine Arts/University Theatre Marketing Intern (Fall) | University of Oklahoma
The Tone:
This is an internship at University of Oklahoma, located in Norman, OK. The University of Oklahoma’s College of Fine Arts and University Theatre produces a wide array of artistic performances and educational experiences for the university and broader community. This role is crucial for amplifying these events, driving ticket sales, and enhancing the overall brand presence of University Theatre through effective and engaging marketing initiatives.

• Type: Flexible with class schedule; occasional nights and weekends required; 15 – 20 hours per week

• Pay: $15 hourly
• Team: Within the College of Fine Arts Marketing team for University Theatre
• Mission: Performs a variety of tasks to support marketing efforts, drive ticket sales, and enhance brand awareness for University Theatre.
• Tech Stack: Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook, Instagram
What You’ll Actually Do
• Social Media Content: Create and execute engaging content, including posts, reels, videos, and stories, to drive ticket sales, enhance brand awareness, and support marketing goals.
• Community Management: Monitor social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram for questions and comments, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
• Graphic Design Support: Assist with the production of graphic design materials for various marketing campaigns.
• Marketing Assistance: Perform other marketing tasks as assigned by the College of Fine Arts Marketing team.
• Communication: Utilize excellent communication and follow-up skills in all interactions and tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma, having completed a minimum of four semesters of college.
• Experience: Experience with social media platforms, copywriting, proofreading, photography, videography, and video editing (specifically for reels).
• Skills: Basic graphic design skills (including proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite), strong communication, teamwork, organization, and time management skills.
• Bonus: Prefer students focused on gaining experience in social media, arts management, visual communications, photography, writing, or videography.
