This is a full-time, entry-level role within a structured training program across various Sherwin-Williams locations. • Team: Reports to Store Management, with opportunities to supervise and lead teams as an Assistant Store Manager.
• Mission: Lead the development and strategy of a million-dollar business, growing market share by selling high-quality products to large, commercial users.
• Tech Stack: Timekeeping systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Completion: Successfully complete an 18-24 month accelerated training program designed to prepare you for a Store Management role.
• Business Oversight: Collaborate with store management to provide leadership and insight into the development and strategy of a million-dollar business.
• Market Share Growth: Increase the company’s market share by making outside sales calls and selling to large commercial users such as painting contractors and manufacturers.
• Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and build positive relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
• Store Operations: Complete store administration tasks, maintain outstanding store conditions, manage visual merchandising, and ensure compliance with policies including safety and loss prevention.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must have at least a bachelor’s degree by the start of this development program, qualifying for an entry-level position that fast-tracks into management.
• Experience: Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship, and previous experience working in a team-oriented setting is beneficial.
• Skills: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation, and possess a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Bonus: At least one year of experience in a retail, sales, or customer service position, or one year in a leadership role supervising others. Experience selling paint products, using timekeeping or CRM systems, willingness to relocate, and the ability to communicate in more than one language (especially Spanish) are preferred.
