• Team: People and Corporate Services Sourcing Team in the Financial Services and Spend Management Organization
• Mission: This person will assist with the execution of Professional Services strategies by applying Strategic Sourcing practices to support the business.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Sourcing: Understand business and company requirements to apply Strategic Sourcing practices.
• Relationship Management: Foster strong business and supplier relationships.
• Analysis and Benchmarking: Perform spend and market analysis to identify cost savings and benchmark supplier performance.
• Contract Negotiation: Conduct Requests for Proposals and negotiate contracts for Professional Services.
• Process Improvement: Identify strategic improvement opportunities (e.g., introducing new technologies, cost optimization, contract consolidation, and preferred supplier programs) and drive process-improvement initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance or a related degree program, with core domain knowledge in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Sourcing, specifically in Professional Services.
• Experience: 10+ years of direct experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Sourcing, including demonstrated experience in Professional Services, or 8+ years with a Master’s degree in a related field. Proven experience leading processes and negotiating Professional Services contracts is required.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and proven skill in spend and market analysis.
