What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software modules and features, ensuring high quality, scalability, and adherence to architectural best practices.
• Code: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code primarily in Go and Python, contributing to our microservices architecture and backend systems.
• Collaborate: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, UI/UX Design, QA, and Operations, to define requirements, scope projects, and deliver solutions on time.
• Mentor: Mentor junior engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Troubleshoot: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability, performance, and uptime for critical services.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical domain.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong track record of building and deploying scalable applications, and extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and developing cloud-native applications.
• Skills: Proficiency in Go and Python, solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles, strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases, and proficiency with Git and agile development methodologies.
• Bonus: Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js), demonstrated ability to lead small projects, and experience working in a highly regulated industry.
