Senior Financial Analyst – Marketing | Dish Network
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Dish Network, located in Littleton, CO. EchoStar is reimagining the future of connectivity through satellite television, live-streaming, smart home services, and mobile plans under brands like Boost Mobile and Sling TV. This position is critical for quantifying the impact of marketing investments on long-term business growth and optimizing spend for subscriber acquisition and retention. The Senior Financial Analyst will bridge marketing data and financial outcomes to guide senior leadership and the Board of Directors in strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecasting: Provide visibility into growth efficiency through accurate financial forecasting for marketing spend and subscriber acquisition.
• Partnership: Collaborate with Brand and Performance leads to align financial resources with acquisition objectives.
• Reporting: Strengthen feedback loops through high-impact financial reporting that integrates marketing technology data with revenue outcomes.
• Modeling: Develop sophisticated financial models to track acquisition costs and evaluate the efficacy of promotional offers or new market entries.
• Presentation: Translate marketing performance into clear financial insights for the Board of Directors through quarterly presentations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with a focus on financial planning and analysis within marketing or growth finance.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, specifically within marketing or growth finance, including critical experiences managing annual budgets within a fast-paced marketing or performance-driven environment.
• Skills: At least 3 years of experience with Advanced Microsoft Excel (Financial Modeling) and Google Suite; experience with data integration between marketing platforms and financial systems; AI application skills to leverage generative tools and automated models for data interpretation; strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence decisions; ability to tailor communication for diverse audiences.
• Bonus: MBA or MS-Finance degree is strongly preferred; experience with enterprise systems such as Hyperion or OneStream.
