Senior Analyst – Accounting & Controllership | Raytheon

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Hybrid, Tucson, AZ
• Pay: $68900–$131100 yearly
• Mission: Analyzes MRP supply and demand issues, resolves accounting discrepancies, and supports project closures to ensure accurate financial performance.
• Tech Stack: SAP, APEX, PRISM, MS Office Tools, Excel, Business Warehouse (BW)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Analyze and resolve MRP supply and demand issues by contacting internal customers and researching exception/non-program accounts.
• Configuration: Create new material group set-ups, ensuring correct grouping of operative Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements.
• Research: Assist team members with in-depth analysis of inventory cost shifts, undistributed costs, and variance research.
• Project Support: Provide support for all Project Closure activities, collaborating closely with several cross-functional teams.
• Customer Service: Offer full-service support to internal customers by interacting with various functions to identify and resolve grouping, pegging, and distribution errors, and complete PRISM closures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field, for this Senior Analyst role focusing on Accounting & Controllership.
• Experience: At least 2 years of prior relevant experience, including working experience with SAP, APEX, PRISM, or similar financial systems, and proficiency with MS Office Tools, especially Excel.
• Skills: MRP data analysis and resolution, financial system proficiency, material group setup, cost shift and variance research, and MS Excel proficiency.
• Bonus: Solid analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy, experience with Business Warehouse (BW), a customer-oriented approach to problem-solving, strong organizational and self-starter skills, and professional communication skills.
