• Tech Stack: Store systems, delivery board system, inventory systems, POS and Parts lookup systems, testing and diagnostic equipment.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Experience: Deliver an excellent selling and service experience for DIY customers during store visits and phone calls.
• Sales Performance: Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to the overall store sales objectives.
• DIY Services: Provide essential DIY services, including battery installation, battery testing, and wiper installations.
• Store Operations: Maintain high standards for store product presentation and operational processes.
• Inventory Management: Execute critical inventory processes such as truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, and back stock management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An early career sales position with foundational knowledge of store systems, basic automotive systems, and parts, as well as in-depth understanding of store inventory and maintenance processes.
• Experience: 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, demonstrating superior customer experience delivery.
• Skills:
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills with customers, peers, and management (English required, Spanish a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and parts catalogs.
• Accurate basic mathematical calculation skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Knowledge of parts and automotive systems.
• Proficiency in operating POS, parts lookup, inventory systems, and store equipment.
• Bonus: Fleet safety certification preferred; ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
