Account Manager in Training | Havtech

The Tone:
This is a full-time training and development role at Havtech Supply. Havtech Supply is a company that provides HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies, aiming to develop talent for future Account Manager positions within its sales organization. This program is designed to build foundational HVAC product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales process experience, which is essential for supporting Havtech’s primary focus on its customers. The role offers a structured 12 to 18-month rotational experience, preparing recent or upcoming graduates for a successful career in HVAC Sales.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Department Rotation: Immerse yourself in Havtech Supply’s various departments, including warehouse operations, inside sales, and outside sales, to gain in-depth knowledge of product offerings and business processes.
• Customer Order Management: Identify and process customer orders and manage customer inquiries and questions for HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies, applying critical thinking to resolve problems with innovative solutions.
• Business Development & Collaboration: Prepare proposals and pricing to meet customer requirements while ensuring competitive positioning, and collaborate with other Havtech Group businesses like Havtech Applied Equipment, Air Distribution, and Service.
• Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute account-specific business plans to identify long-term mutual support requirements for strong, profitable partnerships, and review contract terms and conditions within Havtech contracts.
• Professional Training & Development: Participate in structured training from Havtech and leading manufacturers, including Daikin Commercial Bootcamp 101 and a consultative selling system, with a combined value of over $14,000.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must have, or will obtain within eight months, a Bachelor’s degree in a business or related academic major, such as marketing or engineering. Alternatively, candidates with at least two years of experience in the HVAC industry are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience: Hold a valid driver’s license to facilitate travel and field exposure inherent in the training program.
• Bonus: A strong interest in pursuing a sales career path, prior experience in customer service or sales roles, a keen interest or willingness to learn the HVAC industry, demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, and a determined, persistent, and confident professional demeanor.
