CORE Management Trainee | CMC

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at CMC, operating across its various facilities including recycling centers, fabrication plants, manufacturing facilities, steel mills, and offices. • Location: In-person, across various CMC facilities (e.g., recycling centers, fabrication plants, manufacturing facilities, steel mills, and offices)

• Mission: To learn the steel, construction reinforcement, and ground stabilization industries and to develop into a future leader by gaining experience across CMC’s core lines of business.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotation: Rotate through the functional areas of CMC’s core lines of business, which include Mills, Fabrication, Recycling, or Emerging Businesses Group such as Construction Services.
• Safety: Actively participate in CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the established CMC Safety Culture throughout all operations.
• Operations: Work directly in roles at the plant level to thoroughly learn and understand operational processes and procedures.
• Development: Participate in various developmental trainings and contribute to key business projects throughout the program.
• Capstone: Complete and formally present a capstone project at the conclusion of the management trainee program.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required; this is an Entry-Level career opportunity focused on learning the steel, construction reinforcement, and ground stabilization industries.
• Experience: No specific years of prior professional experience required; ability to work in varying environmental elements (hot, cold, wet) and flexible hours as needed; willingness to relocate at the end of the program if the next opportunity is at a different location.
• Skills: Strong customer service skills; ability to work effectively within all levels of the organization, from the shop floor to upper management; ability to adhere to CMC’s core values and safety standards.
• Bonus: Engineering Degree preferred.
