The company is actively seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to take charge of its revenue accounting operations. This critical position involves not only performing hands-on accounting tasks but also overseeing the daily processes of the accounting team. The Revenue Accounting Manager will be instrumental in ensuring GAAP and ASC 606 compliance, driving the efficiency of the month-end close, and collaborating across various departments on initiatives that impact revenue.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Revenue Operations: Perform hands-on revenue accounting duties and ensure compliance with ASC 606 standards.
• Financial Close: Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Billing Operations teams on new product launches and essential billing changes.
• Process Improvement: Lead and execute projects focused on revenue standardization and system integration initiatives.
• Technical Analysis: Analyze business changes for their potential revenue implications and prepare detailed technical accounting memos.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is a Manager-level role requiring a strong foundation in GAAP and ASC 606 compliance. Ideal candidates will have developed this expertise either at a publicly traded company or by supporting public company clients within a Big 4 or comparable accounting firm environment.
• Experience: Candidates must possess 8-10 years of hands-on experience specifically in revenue accounting.
• Skills: Essential skills include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, the ability to analyze large datasets and identify significant trends, strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities, and the capacity to be a self-starter who prioritizes effectively.
