The Tone:
This is a full-time, twelve-month internship at Mediobanca, located in Milan. Mediobanca is the leading investment bank in Italy, with an international presence, providing premier advisory services and a full range of credit solutions to support the growth of Italian businesses. This internship plays a crucial role in the Studies Area by contributing to the in-depth economic and financial analysis of companies and markets. The work produced informs both internal banking divisions and external academic and entrepreneurial communities, maintaining Mediobanca’s reputation for excellence and specialized insights.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Activities: Participate in the office’s ordinary and extraordinary activities.
• Documentation: Produce analysis and research documents.
• Collaboration: Assist the unit manager and collaborate with the team on economic and financial studies of businesses and markets.
• Analysis: Conduct analysis of financial statements and other official documents to generate periodic sectoral surveys and research on Italian companies.
• Relations: Maintain and manage relationships with external companies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduates or graduates in economic disciplines; Entry-Level career status.
• Experience: No prior professional experience required for this entry-level internship.
• Skills: Good knowledge of main Microsoft Office applications, proficiency in English, precision, seriousness, and confidentiality.
• Bonus: Adequate communication skills, teamwork ability, and a sense of responsibility.
