What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Experience: Deliver attentive and friendly service to clients, creating a welcoming environment and consistently exceeding their expectations.
• Relationship Management: Manage assigned client relationships by proactively meeting with them, both in person and over the phone, to understand financial needs and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Consultative Communication: Engage in clear, polite, and consultative communication to build trust, thoroughly understand client needs, ask questions, and anticipate solutions.
• Technology Education: Educate and connect clients to technology solutions like the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs, enabling them to manage their banking needs whenever and however they prefer.
• Financial Consulting: Quickly and accurately learn banking products, services, and procedures to consult with clients on solutions and connect them to specialized financial experts as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent, with core domain knowledge in Retail Banking or Financial Services.
• Experience: 1+ year of sales experience in relevant industries, demonstrating proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and consistently delivering results.
• Skills: Ability to create memorable client experiences; excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor product features and benefits; capability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail; strict adherence to established risk parameters, internal/external risk, and compliance obligations including required training. Additionally, candidates must possess or obtain within 180 days of hire: the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses. National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration is also a requirement.
