The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Gallagher Re, with specific in-office and remote days determined by the location. This role is crucial for protecting clients’ assets, enabling them to navigate complex risks, and ensuring strong financial positions to cover policyholder claims when disasters strike.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients across all organizational levels, assisting in the marketing, negotiation, placing, and servicing of accounts.
• Content Creation: Craft persuasive pitch documents and compelling presentations for both new and existing clients.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data in partnership with actuarial, catastrophe modeling, and financial advisory teams to provide valuable insights.
• Reinsurance Transactions: Contribute to the structuring, placing, servicing, and finalization of reinsurance transactions, including contract work.
• Professional Development: Participate in web-based and in-person seminars, working towards a P&C license within 12 months and an ARe designation within 18 months.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree; entry-level position designed for upcoming/recent college graduates and career changers.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to build, refine, and transmit documents seamlessly.
• Skills: Strong technological proficiency enabling you to use various software for efficient task completion, exceptional written and verbal communication for client and colleague engagement, flexibility to travel five times to the home office in Rolling Meadows, IL for training.
• Bonus: Previous internship or work experience in a related field; knowledge of or curiosity about the reinsurance broking and risk management industry.
