What You’ll Actually Do
• Consulting Support: Support clients on a variety of reimbursement consulting projects, including Medicare and Medicaid Disproportionate Share, Medicare Bad Debts, and Uncompensated Care Reporting.
• Software Learning: Learn and develop proficiency with new internal software and platforms pertinent to the consulting practice.
• Data Analysis: Compile and assess large data sets, demonstrating strong analytical capabilities while identifying potential data concerns or issues.
• Knowledge Development: Learn and develop new technical knowledge specific to the consulting practice and the clients served.
• Client Experience: Deliver Forvis Mazars’ commitment to an unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for individuals pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, accounting, finance, analytics, or healthcare administration.
• Experience: Maintenance of a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall), experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and strong Excel skills.
• Skills: Strong technical competencies, effective time management and prioritization skills, strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and close attention to detail.
• Bonus: Preference for candidates able to intern from January 2027 through August 2027.
