Registered Nurse (RN) – New Graduate | SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Richmond Heights, MO. SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital is a joint venture dedicated to providing specialized inpatient rehabilitation for individuals recovering from complex conditions such as brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, and orthopedic issues. As a New Graduate Registered Nurse, you will be integral to delivering compassionate care and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, directly contributing to the recovery and well-being of patients. Your role supports patients through significant challenges, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals within an interdisciplinary team environment.

• Mission: Ensure the seamless implementation, assessment, evaluation, and follow-up of comprehensive care plans for our patient population
What You’ll Actually Do
• Assessment: Initiate and conduct ongoing systematic assessments of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients and their families.
• Care Planning: Interpret assessment data to develop a robust nursing care plan, encompassing problem identification, nursing diagnoses, orders, interventions, goals, and thorough discharge planning.
• Collaboration: Actively participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Documentation: Ensure that all documentation in the medical record is complete, factual, accurate, and timely for all patient interactions and care provided.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing; early career.
• Experience: Valid State RN License required upon start date; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• Skills: Patient assessment, care plan development and implementation, interdisciplinary collaboration, precise medical documentation.
