Registered Nurse | Henry Ford Health Genesys Hospital

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Henry Ford Health Genesys Hospital, located in Grand Blanc, Michigan. This Registered Nurse role is critical for delivering a wide range of independent, interdependent, and delegated nursing services, applying professional judgment and analytical skills within established patient care frameworks. What You’ll Actually Do
• Plan: Coordinate and develop multi-disciplinary patient care plans, integrating age-specific, professional, and regulatory requirements to optimize outcomes and resource use.
• Assess: Conduct thorough admission and shift assessments, including risk factors, and perform ongoing reassessments to determine patient health status and care needs.
• Implement: Administer therapeutic regimens including medications, IVs, and blood products, and perform essential nursing procedures and interventions as ordered or indicated.
• Monitor: Continuously monitor patient physiological parameters, identify acute changes in status, and initiate appropriate interventions and notifications to ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Educate: Provide comprehensive patient and family education across the care continuum, covering treatment plans, safety measures, medications, and self-care, along with discharge instructions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program, prepared to apply the nursing process and independent professional judgment.
• Experience: Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing within 2 months of hire, and Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 3 months of hire.
• Skills: Demonstrated clinical competence, compassion, customer service orientation, and effective communication for patient and family interaction, coupled with strong analytical skills.
