Recruiting Intern | Career Launch Tech Initiative
The Tone:
This is an internship at Career Launch Tech Initiative, located remotely. Career Launch Tech Initiative (CLTI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on empowering underserved individuals with the technology, training, and resources for meaningful career development. Backed by major organizations like Google, CLTI powers leading nonprofits nationally and internationally. This role is crucial because you will manage the full recruiting cycle for CLTI’s interns, directly shaping the team that enables the organization’s mission and growth.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship / Volunteer
• Type: Flexible, approximately 20 hours per week
• Location: Remote
• Mission: This person builds the team that makes everything else possible, bringing CLTI closer to its mission of expanding access to AI-powered career tools for underserved communities.
• Tech Stack: AI screening agents, applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment databases
What You’ll Actually Do
• Recruitment Strategy: Coordinate and execute AI-assisted recruitment strategies at scale for various roles.
• Candidate Sourcing: Source candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks using a data-driven approach.
• Evaluation & Screening: Operate AI screening agents to automate evaluation, interpreting quantitative and behavioral assessments.
• Hiring Operations: Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS), schedule interviews, and ensure clear communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Reporting & Optimization: Prepare reports on recruitment metrics, candidate pipelines, AI tool performance, and propose process improvement initiatives.

• Skills: Strong written communication skills, organized and detail-oriented, self-motivated and proactive, comfortable making judgment calls about people with empathy, communicates openly.
