The TL;DR

• Team: E-Mobility department
• Mission: Support the ramp-up of locally produced E-Mobility parts in the USMCA region and secure structured processes for the team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Acquire Expertise: Gain comprehensive knowledge of BMW’s battery technology, acquire valuable supplier experience, and develop technical understanding within the E-Mobility department through a structured program of tasks.
• Support Production Ramp-Up: Actively support the ramp-up process for all locally produced parts related to E-Mobility in the USMCA region, ensuring smooth integration and quality standards.
• Drive Process Improvement: Establish, evaluate, and enhance cross-functional processes to bring greater structure and efficiency to the team’s operations.
• Analyze Data and Manage Risks: Perform detailed timeline and data analysis to accurately assess the team’s current status, and proactively manage and limit risks by collaborating frequently with process partners.
• Facilitate Knowledge Transfer: Innovate and implement methods for documenting and saving all lessons learned to benefit future team members, and lead the department’s weekly QMT Academy sessions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate student in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field, with at least 30 credit hours completed.
• Experience: Demonstrated high interest in the EV business or the alternative powertrain area, with an ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities for timeline and data analysis, organizational and coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Bonus: Prior international experience.
