What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Responsible for the design and development of highly-sophisticated communication products for professional and mission-critical markets in the commercial, government, and industrial segments.
• Simulate: Utilize Modeling & Simulation Software, including RF simulation in ADS/CST and Digital Signal Integrity simulation in Mentor Graphics and Cadence SI tool, to create and evaluate designs prior to releasing the PCB layout Gerber for fabrication.
• Collaborate: Work with a team of highly-qualified engineers to generate innovative ideas for communication systems.
• Engineer: Design communication systems, which encompass infrastructure, subscribers, and accessories, to meet specific customer requirements.
• Specialize: Work on specialized sub-circuits, including RF circuits (receivers, transmitters, VCOs, amplifiers, filters, mixers), digital and controller circuits (microcontroller, logics, LCD), and power, audio, and signaling circuits (batteries, voltage regulators, audio amplifiers, filters, speakers, microphones).
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineer with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineering, or related disciplines, seeking to design and develop mission-critical communication products.
• Experience: Basic understanding in either RF, digital controller, or audio related fields, combined with practical experience utilizing standard RF/digital controller/audio measuring equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.
• Skills: Proficiency in RF simulation using ADS/CST, digital signal integrity simulation with Mentor Graphics and Cadence SI tool, and simulation experience in PSPIT. Competence in operating and interpreting data from measuring equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters.
• Bonus: Advanced degrees such as an MSc/M.Eng or PhD with specialization in areas directly relevant to product design.
