Position Summary: Project & Operations Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Project & Operations Intern to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to both the day-to-day operational excellence and the execution of strategic projects within our rapidly evolving and fast-paced organization. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including facilitating crucial stakeholder meetings, conducting insightful data analysis, managing diverse administrative assignments, and actively contributing to various facets of project management and process optimization. Success in this role hinges on your ability to demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, a high degree of adaptability, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project & Operations Intern, your daily responsibilities will involve a combination of the following critical tasks:

  • Project Support: Provide invaluable support to team members in the successful delivery of medium and large-scale projects, catering to diverse stakeholders across the entire organization.
  • Independent Project Management: Take ownership and independently manage several smaller projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initial requirements gathering and meticulous planning through to successful implementation. This includes providing regular and transparent reporting to stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization & Knowledge Management: Actively collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to critically review existing business processes and identify areas for improvement. You will play a role in implementing enhanced processes and bolstering Pillar (department) knowledge management strategies.
  • Tool Administration & Troubleshooting: Assist with troubleshooting issues and developing effective solutions within our primary project management tool, Monday.com, ensuring its efficient use across the team.
  • Presentation Development & Delivery: Prepare compelling presentations and, as required, deliver them to various stakeholder groups, potentially including presentations to the entire organization.
  • Ad-Hoc Assignments: Execute additional tasks and special assignments as directed by the Pillar head, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Academic Standing: A strong academic record with a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous work or internship experience involving project coordination, process documentation, or data analysis.

Compensation

This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $20/hr. This position is eligible for statutory benefits only. Please note that we are unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
