About the Job:

Visual Communications is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to support its creative team. This role partners with peer project managers to ensure projects are executed with operational consistency and accuracy. Embracing a strategy-first, value-always mindset, the Project Manager reinforces strong processes, clear communication, and disciplined project tracking.

This Project Manager Rep position supports the execution of creative projects within Visual Communications, focusing on coordination, documentation, and operational accuracy while building foundational project management skills. Under the guidance of senior project managers or leadership, this role ensures projects are properly set up, tracked, and closed within established processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of project coordination or project management experience
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with project tracking systems or similar tools

What You Will Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

Project Coordination:

  • Support the intake process by reviewing requests for completeness and entering accurate data in WMJ.
  • Assist in developing project schedules and tracking milestones.
  • Coordinate meetings and document action items.
  • Monitor assigned tasks to ensure timelines are met.

Operational Support:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and required system fields.
  • Track project status and escalate risks or delays to senior PMs.
  • Assist in budget tracking and reporting.
  • Support timely project close-out.

Team & Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate updates to internal stakeholders under guidance.
  • Partner with creatives to ensure clarity of scope and deliverables.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient workflow.

Desired Skills:

  • Exposure to creative or marketing workflows
  • Experience with Workamajig or similar PM software
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience working with Visual Communications or Creative Teams
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Ability to work remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
