What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Conduct project-level financial analysis to assess and report on project performance, identifying and communicating concerns to management.
• Project Setup & Compliance: Coordinate project setup to ensure alignment with contract and policy requirements, and analyze contracts to understand scope, billing, and invoicing terms.
• Data Management: Maintain and update essential project data within Oracle systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Reporting & Insights: Prepare monthly reports with financial commentary on project status and support project performance reviews with financial insights and recommendations.
• Financial Operations Support: Monitor accounts receivable, aid in collection processes, resolve invoicing issues, and develop plans to improve payment timeliness.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or project accounting.
• Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, effective written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration, and strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Bonus: A master’s degree, professional certifications (CPA, CMA), audit experience, familiarity with Oracle Project Accounting or similar ERP systems, or experience in project-based organizations.
