Product Testing Intern at Element

Overview

Element offers an exciting opportunity for a Product Testing Intern to gain invaluable hands-on engineering experience. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and technicians on daily tasks related to product qualification testing. This encompasses the entire process from test development, setup, and troubleshooting to fixture preparation, actual testing, and comprehensive reporting. This internship provides direct exposure to the practical aspects of engineering.

Salary
$21 – $23 per hour, Depending on Experience (DOE).

Responsibilities

As a Product Testing Intern, your key responsibilities will include:
• Assisting in the development of test setups and fixturing.
• Preparing and evaluating samples in preparation for testing.
• Interpreting data, reviewing, and accurately reporting testing results.
• Providing support to testing engineers with various tasks as needed.

Skills / Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Associate degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills, crucial for collaboration within the team.
• A strong willingness to learn and actively participate in testing activities within a laboratory environment.
