Position: PRN Intern/Floater
Overview: This is a flexible, hands-on internship opportunity within Breckenridge Village, designed for individuals seeking experience in a supportive and mission-driven environment. The role involves assisting across both Day Program and Residential shifts. It offers exposure to a variety of professional fields, including social services, administration, public relations, development, medical care, event planning, facilities, and more. The position is customizable to align with educational and career goals, with a focus on learning about the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and the holistic support services provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with tasks across Day Program and Residential shifts.
• Gain exposure to various departments and functions within Breckenridge Village.
• Learn about the needs and lives of adults with IDD.
• Support the provision of holistic support services.
• Work under the guidance of experienced mentors.
• Customize the internship experience to align with educational and career goals.
Qualifications:
• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience: Life experiences appropriate to the position; Experience working with developmentally disabled persons preferred.
