Construction Management Intern | Crusoe
The Tone:
This is an intensive 12-week summer internship at Crusoe, located in San Francisco, CA. Crusoe is the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, meticulously owning and operating every layer of the stack—from electrons to tokens. This unique approach allows the company to power the world’s most ambitious AI workloads. This role is crucial for the comprehensive planning, precise execution, and successful delivery of complex digital infrastructure projects, directly addressing the critical power bottleneck for boundless AI compute demand. The intern will contribute to Crusoe’s mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence, helping to build the future, faster.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Controls: Directly assist Project Managers with the crucial processing of Requests for Information (RFIs), Submittals, and Change Orders to ensure project documentation accuracy and progression.
• Scheduling: Actively help maintain and update intricate project schedules using industry-standard tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, diligently tracking milestones and proactively flagging potential delays.
• Site Monitoring: Conduct regular job site walks (or virtually review site progress) to monitor safety compliance, ensure rigorous quality control, and confirm strict adherence to design specifications.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate proactively with subcontractors, material suppliers, and design teams to ensure the just-in-time delivery of critical components, minimizing project disruptions.
• Cost Support: Assist in detailed budget tracking, precise quantity take-offs, and thorough invoice verification to maintain financial control.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. Preference is given to students graduating between December 2026 and Spring 2027.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel. You are a clear and effective communicator, possess demonstrated “grit,” and have an ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel to project sites if required to gain direct, on-the-ground experience.
• Bonus: Prior experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or Primavera P6.
