The program achieves this through a structured, 10-week virtual internship designed to identify and cultivate future finance leaders globally. It is offered in partnership with Lower Middle Market (LMM) funds and search funds across major regions including the US, UK, Europe, APAC, and MENA.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Master core PE modeling: Build robust 3-Statement Financial Models, conduct Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Valuation, and analyze both Trading Comparables and Transaction Comparables to assess company value.
• Utilize industry tools: Gain full access to Capital IQ Pro and complete its comprehensive Academy training, earning an official certificate upon successful completion.
• Conduct market research: Perform thorough market and industry research to identify trends, evaluate competitive landscapes, and support investment theses.
• Prepare investment documents: Learn to write impactful Investment Memos and apply Excel and PowerPoint best practices for creating professional deal work presentations.
• Understand LBO mechanics: Develop a foundational understanding of Leveraged Buyout (LBO) basics, encompassing debt structuring, returns analysis, and the drivers of Internal Rate of Return (IRR).
• Gain real-world exposure: Pursue placement opportunities with various buy-side entities, including Lower Middle Market (LMM) PE firms, Search Funds, Independent Sponsors, and Family Offices, offering direct experience with investment decision-making.

• Background: Current university student, ideally a freshman or sophomore, who is eager to get a head start in private equity.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required, with a focus on high-performing students seeking practical experience.
