Development Associate | Premium Parking
The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12 to 15-week development program at Premium Parking, located in New Orleans, LA, at the corporate office. Premium Parking is an organization of 318 people that builds innovative parking management solutions and oversees market operations across the United States. This program is essential for building a pipeline of future operations leaders who will be prepared to develop and strengthen client relations, manage market dynamics, and oversee the day-to-day operations of our parking facilities. Participants will undergo comprehensive training and development to equip them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to succeed in an Account Manager role within the company.

• Team: Participants will work closely with experienced senior executives, market presidents, and account managers, receiving direct mentorship and coaching.
• Mission: To prepare participants for an operations role as an Account Manager, enabling them to effectively develop and strengthen client relations and oversee market operations.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Training & Development: Participate in a comprehensive training curriculum designed to cover all key aspects of the business, including operations, client relationships, business intelligence, marketing, finance, implementation, and professional development.
• Cross-Functional Rotations: Gain valuable exposure to different departments and roles within the company, collaborating with teams in areas such as sales, operations, finance, and customer service to develop a holistic business understanding.
• Strategic Projects: Undertake assigned real-world projects that align with the company’s strategic objectives and market needs, conducting research, analyzing data, and developing actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Mentorship & Coaching: Work closely with experienced leaders and executives, receiving continuous guidance, feedback, and support to develop excellence in operations, enhance problem-solving skills, and foster strategic thinking.
• Networking & Community: Attend industry conferences, networking events, and business meetings to expand professional connections, while also engaging in community involvement to represent the company and foster positive brand image.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, requiring a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a closely related field obtained within the last 18 months.
• Experience: This program is designed for recent graduates with no specific prior professional experience required, focusing on developing foundational skills for future Account Manager operations roles. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with diverse stakeholders, alongside being proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to new challenges. Strong organizational and time management skills are also critical for managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is also required.
