Interns will gain direct experience in the day-to-day workings of the industry, while also being exposed to crucial operational support functions like Safety and Quality Assurance. What You’ll Actually Do
• Production Work: Work in a variety of poultry production and live operations positions within the company.
• Process Familiarization: Become familiar with the various parts of the poultry production process from start to finish.
• Operational Support: Gain exposure to critical operation support departments, including Safety and Quality Assurance.
• Value Contribution: Contribute to the company’s success through offering innovative ideas and creating tangible value for the business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with at least one semester of school remaining. This is an early career level role.
• Experience: No specific professional experience is explicitly required, as this is an internship designed for current students. The primary experience requirement is current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program with at least one semester of school remaining. Exposure to or studies in Agriculture, Poultry Operations, or other agriculture-related fields are strongly preferred, providing a foundational understanding relevant to the role.
• Skills: Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and contribute to discussions. Basic computer skills are necessary for daily tasks and data entry. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn from others and proactively engage in learning opportunities.
