Portfolio Investment Analyst | Daley And Associates, LLC

The Tone:
This is a permanent role at Daley And Associates, LLC, located in Boston with a hybrid schedule. Daley And Associates, LLC is an investment services company that oversees managed investment accounts for clients. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance, providing key information to Portfolio Managers, and supporting the overall investment process within the firm’s managed accounts, encompassing individual stocks, bonds, ETFs, and mutual funds.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Compliance Review: Assist in the ongoing compliance review process for the firm’s managed investment accounts, which include individual stocks, bonds, and pooled vehicles.
• Reporting: Maintain and generate daily, monthly, and quarterly reports for the internal investment team, covering widely held stocks, asset allocation, performance attribution, and trading history.
• Data Collection: Collect data from outside advisors/investment managers as part of the ongoing due diligence process.
• Report Development: Develop customized reports using a wide array of software tools.
• Portfolio Management: Rebalance and trade investment portfolios in conjunction with client’s Investment Policy Statement and/or the firm’s investment models.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience in an investment operations or analyst role.
• Experience: One plus years of experience in an investment services/analyst role, with a focus on individual stocks, bonds, and outside investment vehicles; a track record of leveraging intelligent workflow and data-enrichment tools is a plus.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and Macros; experience with performance-measurement platforms such as FactSet or Bloomberg; strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; commitment to research and continuous learning; and a high level of collaboration and judgment.
• Bonus: Progress towards the CFA Charter is a plus.
