• Mission: To learn and assist the pharmacy team in providing the best patient experience, managing prescriptions, and preparing for a future as a pharmacist in accordance with all regulations.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Engagement: Engage customers and patients, offer assistance with products and services, resolve issues, answer questions, and build strong customer relationships.
• Pharmacy Operations: Under pharmacist supervision, assist in the practice of pharmacy, process prescriptions, comply with company policies, and report any prescription errors immediately.
• Patient Care: Assist pharmacists and healthcare providers in delivering patient care services within the state scope of practice, including patient counseling and health services.
• Inventory and Maintenance: Support inventory management activities such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and ensure the pharmacy department is stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Professional Development: Complete required training and maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in healthcare and pharmacy developments.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Experience: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Skills: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; ability to operate a cash register and handle cash; adherence to company policies and procedures.
