Job Description:

This is a paid, in-person internship opportunity within the Payment Management team at Universal Orlando Resort. The internship runs approximately from September 2025 to December 2025. The role focuses on data analysis and reconciliation within the company’s financial operations.

Job Summary: The intern will work alongside the Payment Management team, analyzing large databases to generate new information and reports. Key responsibilities include supporting the forecasting of receivables and fees, reconciling detailed credit card data, and learning internal and external payment systems. The intern will play an active role in the reconciliation process.

Major Responsibilities:

Performs daily reconciliation: This involves comparing and verifying financial records for accuracy.
Supports data entry & data mining: The intern will be involved in entering data and analyzing large datasets to identify anomalies, patterns, and correlations.
Forecasts outcomes: Based on data analysis, the intern will contribute to predicting future financial results.
Determines corrective actions: Identifying and proposing solutions for discrepancies found during reconciliation and analysis.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) responsibilities: Following established company policies, procedures, and training related to safety.
Performs other duties as assigned: This indicates flexibility and a willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution.
• Must be a Junior or above in their academic standing.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Transcript required upon application.
• Preferred majors include Accounting, Finance, or similar fields.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.

• The internship is based in Orlando, Florida.
