Patient Concierge Intern – Fall 2026 | Medpace

The Tone:
This is a part-time or full-time internship at Medpace, located in Cincinnati, OH. Medpace is a global full-service clinical contract research organization that provides phase I-IV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. The company’s mission is to accelerate the global development of safe and effective medical therapeutics through the advancement of clinical research. This role is crucial for directly supporting patients with their travel and payment needs throughout their clinical trial journey.

• Team: Patient Concierge team, providing support to Coordinators and Managers
• Mission: Support patients directly with travel and payment services throughout their clinical trial journey.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Support: Provide day-to-day project support activities, maintaining project-related files and communicating with sites and patients.
• Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks in conformity with company policies and procedures.
• Patient Logistics: Coordinate meetings, process patient reimbursements, and schedule travel arrangements for patients.
• Data Management: Maintain databases and spreadsheets as necessary to facilitate tracking and documentation of study activities.
• Ad Hoc Assistance: Support other Patient Concierge functional areas on various projects and perform additional administrative tasks as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent, and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week in the Cincinnati, OH office.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Preferred availability to extend through multiple, consecutive semesters.
