What You’ll Actually Do
• Processing: Perform daily OTC derivatives operational processing, including trade capture validation, lifecycle events, and position or cash updates.
• Reconciliation: Execute reconciliations for trades, positions, and cash, and investigate any identified breaks in line with documented procedures and controls.
• Issue Resolution: Identify, document, and escalate exceptions, processing issues, and potential impacts on Net Asset Value (NAV) or clients in a timely manner.
• Reporting: Support the completion of daily deliverables and reporting requirements for assigned derivative clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. This position requires a foundational understanding of OTC derivatives or other financial products, gained within Operations, Fund Accounting, or Middle Office environments.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are mentioned, but the role requires the ability to follow defined procedures and operate effectively in a daily production environment.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, a control-focused mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, confidence in escalating issues when required, and proficiency in MS Excel.
