Order Operations Intern | Stealth Startup

The Tone:
This is a paid contract internship at Stealth Startup, located remotely within the U.S. Stealth Startup is an agentic AI-powered commerce startup backed by top investors and led by proven founders with deep roots in consumer, retail, and marketplaces. The company is building from 0 → 1 to redefine how people discover fashion and how brands move inventory smarter and faster. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely daily order placement and tracking, directly supporting the company’s mission to shape the future of shopping.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Contract role, daily 6:00–7:30 PM PST (with occasional extension to 8:30 PM), including weekends
• Location: Remote
• Pay: $20 hourly
• Mission: Ensure every customer order is placed accurately and on time while monitoring deliveries and keeping order statuses up to date.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Placement: Place customer orders daily through the CRM, managing anywhere from 5 to over 100 orders each day, completing the full checkout process for each.
• Transaction Oversight: Manage multiple orders concurrently to ensure every purchase is processed correctly and confirmed on time.
• Delivery Monitoring: Monitor deliveries, track shipments, and update corresponding order statuses in real-time.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot basic order issues, such as declined payments, incorrect addresses, or delayed shipments, escalating more complex problems when necessary.
• Process Collaboration: Collaborate with the CX and operations teams to refine existing processes and streamline workflows as the company scales.

• Strong attention to detail, with an ability to identify small errors.
• Comfort navigating and adapting to new tools and processes.
• Reliability and consistency to commit to daily evening hours, including weekends.
• Bonus: Previous experience in operations, e-commerce, retail, or customer support.
