Operations Support Representative – After Hours | Ryan Transportation
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ryan Transportation, located in Overland Park, KS. Ryan Transportation is part of Shamrock Trading Corporation, a family of brands that has served the transportation and logistics industries since 1986 by offering factoring solutions, export financing, third-party logistics, a fuel card program, and trucking technology. This role ensures the seamless after-hours operational management of loads, critical for maintaining high customer and carrier satisfaction.
The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career
• Type: 3 weekday shifts from 3:00PM-12:00AM and 2 weekend shifts from 8:00AM-5:00PM
• Location: In-person, Overland Park, KS
• Team: Part of the Operations team, collaborating with Carrier Sales and Account Management
• Mission: Manage after-hours operational activities for Ryan Transportation loads to ensure the highest level of customer and carrier satisfaction.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, data entry
What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Manage and respond to inbound customer service calls and emails.
• Follow-Up: Conduct routine follow-up calls as directed by Carrier Sales and Account Management representatives.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records through timely system updates.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics activity, including issue resolution and communication among carrier operations, customer operations, and sales.
• Load Management: Track and trace orders for each load in the system and complete all related paperwork.

• Background: Demonstrated success in a proactive operations and customer service environment.
• Experience: Proven ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, and solve problems while thriving in a fast-paced setting.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry, possessing detail-oriented analytical skills, and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
