The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Northrop Grumman, located in Clearfield, UT. • Mission: Facilitate continuous improvement events to develop, define and improve processes in the forming and finishing of aircraft composite structures.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Facilitate: Drive continuous improvement events to develop, define, and enhance processes in aircraft composite structures’ forming and finishing.
• Analyze: Examine various manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for minimizing scrap, reducing cost, increasing capacity, and optimizing schedules.
• Support: Provide direct assistance to the manufacturing floor by collaborating with cross-functional teams to address frontline problems and implement impactful, cost-saving solutions.
• Guide: Work with program leadership to evaluate hypothetical scenarios and inform long-term strategic decision-making across diverse programs.
• Partner: Collaborate with manufacturing management to develop and track recovery plans, ensuring confidence among program management and customers despite unforeseen challenges.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with 0-1 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 0 years of experience, for a Project Management level role.
• Experience: 0-1 years of relevant experience as specified for Level 1 or 2 Project Management, with the ability to work effectively on an assembly floor.
• Skills: Ability to transfer and maintain a final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation), and any required program access.
• Bonus: Current DoD Secret Clearance, active Special Program Access (PAR), experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment, a Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM field, and proficiency using the full suite of Microsoft Office Tools.
