Operations & Product Intern | Beyond Med

The Tone:
This is an internship at Beyond Med, a remote-friendly company with hybrid opportunities for candidates located near our team. Beyond Med is a healthcare technology company that helps individuals access health, wellness, and elective care services through a growing network of providers. This role is crucial for improving operational efficiency, enhancing member and provider experiences, and shaping new product initiatives within a healthcare technology startup. The intern will help expand access to services that improve quality of life, confidence, and overall well-being for members.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Support projects that improve operational efficiency, enhance member and provider experiences, and help shape new product initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Support: Support daily operational initiatives that contribute to member, provider, and business growth.
• Market Research: Conduct research on healthcare, wellness, and competitive market trends to inform business and product strategy.
• Process Improvement: Document and improve internal processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Product Development: Assist product development by gathering user feedback, documenting requirements, and prioritizing opportunities.
• Experience Enhancement: Test new features, workflows, and member-facing experiences, contributing ideas to improve the member journey.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, or a recent graduate with a strong interest in business operations, product development, startups, healthcare, technology, or entrepreneurship.
• Experience: Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar productivity tools.
• Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication; strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take initiative; comfort learning new tools, systems, and processes quickly; ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
• Bonus: Experience with project management tools, analytics, research, CRM platforms, AI tools, or no-code software; curious, resourceful, and eager to contribute.
