What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Participation: Engage in Compass Group’s Accelerated Manager Program (AMP) to develop comprehensive leadership capabilities.
• Operational Learning: Acquire proficiency in Canteen’s best practices across areas such as marketing, customer service, retail, and finance.
• Practice Facilitation: Implement learned operational and support service practices within branch settings.
• Managerial Preparation: Prepare to take on future managerial assignments focused on Markets & Office Snacks, Coffee & Refreshments, or Vending.
• On-site Training: Complete hands-on training at a designated location as a core part of the onboarding experience.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager in Training level. Possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in relevant domains.
• Experience: 0–5 years in customer service, retail, logistics, food service, sales, or a related internship.
• Skills:
• Communication: Strong interpersonal, communication, and client relationship-building skills.
• Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new business systems.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Business Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of inventory management, cash handling, and profit and loss concepts.
• Bonus: Valid driver’s license preferred (company vehicle provided for business use). Outgoing, energetic, and sales-oriented with a focus on customer service. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
