Operations Management Development Program (OMDP) | International
The Tone:
This is a 2-year rotational program at International, primarily based in Lisle, Illinois, with potential for travel or relocation within the US during the program. International is a global industry pioneer, assembling a team to shape the future of mobility by building trucks and commercial vehicles as part of the 15,000-person-strong International Motors, LLC, under the TRATON GROUP. This Operations Management Development Program is crucial for developing future leaders who will redefine transportation, contributing to a new era of complete and sustainable transport solutions in the commercial vehicle industry’s most significant transformation in a century.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Undergo Rotations: Engage in structured 6-month rotations across key departments such as engineering, production, program management, quality, purchasing, and supply chain/logistics to gain a holistic understanding of business operations.
• Lead Projects: Take on challenging, real-world projects, working alongside experienced professionals and mentors to identify improvement opportunities and implement innovative solutions that drive tangible results.
• Develop Professional Skills: Enhance technical expertise and leadership capabilities through formal training, skill-building workshops, industry conferences, and opportunities to earn certifications.
• Collaborate Cross-functionally: Work with talented professionals from various disciplines, building strong relationships and expanding your professional network within a collaborative environment that fosters creativity and knowledge sharing.
• Receive Mentorship: Benefit from experienced mentors and an Executive Sponsor who provide guidance, support, and valuable insights, helping you navigate challenges, make informed career decisions, and unlock your full potential.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or currently pursuing and will obtain prior to start date) in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Transportation, Logistics, or Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Entry-level position; no prior professional experience required for Bachelor’s degree holders.
• Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow, proven teamwork, collaboration and leadership skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-through on commitments.
• Bonus: Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher, willingness to relocate for assignments, and previous applicable co-op or intern experience.
