Fall Intern – Multi-Family Operations | ARTISAN Management Group
The Tone:
This is a flexible, in-person internship at ARTISAN Management Group, located in Des Moines, IA. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Flexible, in-person, 20–30 hours per week, Monday–Friday. Paid, August–December.
• Location: In-person, Des Moines, IA
• Pay: $16–$18 hourly
• Team: Part of the ARTISAN maintenance team, providing administrative support to the Operations and Property Management team.
• Mission: Protect, maintain, and enhance the value of multifamily communities while ensuring resident satisfaction and supporting critical business operations.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Operations and Property Management team.
• Document Management: Prepare and maintain accurate spreadsheets, presentations, reports, and various business documents.
• Operational Support: Participate in on-site visits, acquisitions, and special projects to gain hands-on experience in community operations.
• Record Organization: Organize electronic files, contracts, and operational records to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and compliant.
• Data Analysis: Conduct research, collect data, and compile information to support business decisions and operational improvements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current college student or recent graduate pursuing Business, Finance, Real Estate, Management, Marketing, or a related field. Entry-level.
• Experience: General maintenance expertise and comfort using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Skills: Organized, detail-oriented, strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bonus: Positive attitude, eagerness to learn new systems, willingness to take initiative, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
