Operations Associate — Wholesale Distribution | Texas Tea and Treats
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Texas Tea and Treats, located in Plano, TX. Texas Tea and Treats is an established and growing wholesale distributor serving more than 100 bubble tea shops, cafes, and dessert businesses across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, with plans to expand into West Texas, Oklahoma, and beyond. This entry-level position offers the unique opportunity to understand how an entire distribution business operates, rather than focusing on a narrow responsibility. This role is crucial for progressively taking ownership of purchasing support, logistics coordination, customer operations, invoicing, and process improvement, directly contributing to the company’s growth.

• Team: Reports directly to the owner and works closely with warehouse leadership and bookkeeping partners.
• Mission: Owns the operational backbone of the business by coordinating workflows, improving processes, and ensuring smooth customer operations from initial setup to successful delivery.
• Tech Stack: Excel, Google Sheets, Word, email, PDFs, Google Workspace, Zoho
What You’ll Actually Do
• Workflow Coordination: Coordinate daily operational workflows, including order processing, invoicing handoffs, and delivery verification.
• Customer Onboarding: Own the entire new customer onboarding process from initial setup through the first successful delivery.
• Operational Tool Building: Build and maintain essential operational tools such as spreadsheets, order sheets, price lists, and checklists to ensure accuracy.
• Field Support: Ride along on customer visits throughout DFW for onboarding, product samples, and providing operational support.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across purchasing, customer service, warehouse operations, and logistics to ensure accurate information flow and take ownership of increasingly important operational workflows as reliability and sound judgment are demonstrated.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree; Entry-Level career.
• Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience or strong internship experience; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations throughout DFW as needed.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail; comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets, Word, email, PDFs, Google Workspace, and learning new software platforms (including Zoho); a dependable self-starter who keeps commitments and flags problems early.
• Bonus: Business-level Mandarin is a significant advantage; additional compensation may be available for candidates with verified professional language skills or other directly relevant qualifications.
