Operations Associate | Nutricost
The Tone:
This is an entry-level, cross-functional role at Nutricost, supporting daily operations at their third-party logistics (3PL) facility in Springville, UT. The company utilizes a 3PL for its operational needs. This position is critical for maintaining efficiency and organization across warehouse activities, system administration, documentation, and general office functions, ensuring the smooth flow of product and information.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Warehouse Operations: Directly support daily warehouse functions by completing tasks such as inventory staging, consolidation, relabeling, and cycle count assistance, in addition to backing up receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping during high-volume periods.
• System & Account Administration: Manage user accounts across email, WMS, and other operational platforms by creating, modifying, and deactivating access, ensuring timely onboarding and offboarding, and providing first-line support for basic account issues and hardware setup.
• Reporting & Process Documentation: Maintain and update crucial operational reports and trackers using data extracted from the WMS, and draft or refine standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation to enhance efficiency and data quality.
• Administrative & Office Support: Provide essential office and administrative assistance by managing supplies, organizing common areas, handling mail and visitors, and supporting management with scheduling, meeting setup, and various ad-hoc administrative projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An entry-level professional holding a Bachelor’s degree from any field, with a strong preference for candidates with academic backgrounds in supply chain, business, logistics, or information systems.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheet applications, including the ability to perform sorting, filtering, and use basic formulas effectively, coupled with a practical “common sense” approach to problem-solving.
• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail especially concerning account access and data entry, the capacity to accurately and consistently follow instructions, and the discretion required to handle sensitive employee and client information. This role also requires a willingness to perform physical warehouse work as part of the regular workday and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Bonus: Prior internship or work experience within logistics, distribution, e-commerce, or general operations; familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration; exposure to warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms, or other inventory software; intermediate Excel skills such as PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP; or current forklift or powered industrial equipment certification, or a willingness to obtain it.
