The Visa Internship Program offers an immersive, 12-week journey designed to provide interns with a comprehensive professional experience. Interns will work on impactful projects that directly contribute to Visa’s mission, allowing them to build valuable connections across the organization, sharpen their communication and business acumen, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment.
The program emphasizes both professional development and community building. Interns will have exclusive access to interactive workshops and learning sessions aimed at deepening their expertise, expanding industry knowledge, and elevating professional skillsets. Beyond learning, interns are expected to actively contribute, collaborate, and innovate. The experience is complemented by a variety of intern social events to foster community and connection. The program culminates in an exciting final presentation, where interns showcase project achievements, key insights, and recommendations to Visa’s leaders and stakeholders, demonstrating business impact and personal growth.
North America Business Operations Intern Role Description:
As a North America Business Operations intern, you will become a valuable contributor, supporting Visa’s strategic and operational priorities across the region. The North America Operations team is crucial in delivering insights, infrastructure, and executional support, enabling speed to market and operational excellence for Visa’s sales and product teams.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience partnering with cross-functional teams to support critical initiatives such as:
• Go-to-market planning for product launches and enhancements.
• Pipeline reviews.
• Sales enablement.

Potential Job Duties and Projects:
Interns in this role may be involved in various activities, including:
• Supporting the creation and maintenance of dashboards to monitor product or sales performance, utilizing tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Risk) to support go-to-market planning for product launches or enhancements.
• Assisting with the development and delivery of sales enablement resources, such as sales team briefings, FAQs, and training modules.
• Analyzing business or sales data to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Contributing to thought leadership initiatives by researching industry trends, gathering insights, and helping develop materials that inform sales teams and support client conversations.
• Developing and deploying surveys to assess the usage of sales platforms and identify areas for improvement.
• Assisting and supporting the planning and execution of internal team meetings, workshops, or external client event engagements.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Economics, Communications, Data Analytics, or Data Science.
• Anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027.
• Strong communication skills, demonstrated through clear and concise written and spoken communications that exhibit professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with data visualization and analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• High proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and synthesize data effectively.
• Strong ability to collaborate, along with being a great team player and possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
• Capability to manage high complexity workstreams, effectively manage time, and prioritize workload.
Additional Information:
• Compensation (U.S. Applicants Only): The estimated hourly range for a new hire in this position is $30 to $35.
• Work Authorization: Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position; future sponsorship will not be considered.
• Work Hours: Vary upon the needs of the department.
• Work Model: This is a hybrid position; the expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
• Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
• Mental/Physical Requirements: The role will be performed in an office setting, requiring the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment.
