Job Description: NBCUniversal Academic Year Internship Program

This paid internship program offers students a chance to gain hands-on experience within NBCUniversal, contributing meaningfully to projects across various departments. The program runs for two semesters (September 15, 2025 – April 17, 2026), requiring a 16-24 hour per week commitment. Internships are fully virtual.

Specific Internship Opportunity (Operations & Technology):

This internship falls under the Operations & Technology (O&T) division, a significant part of NBCUniversal. O&T handles critical functions including media operations, broadcast and studio production, content supply chain, IT, engineering, and cybersecurity, operating globally.

The internship focuses on Enterprise Product Finance, specifically the FP&A Systems team. This team supports the business’s financial planning and analytics processes, working on projects related to:

• Ad Sales Planning
• Operations & Technology Workforce Planning
• Corporate Overhead

Interns will participate in various projects, potentially assisting with standardizing planning processes, validating data integrations, and testing.

Qualifications:

Active enrollment in a degree-granting program (September 2025 – April 2026). December 2025 graduates are ineligible.
Sophomore status or above (30 credits minimum).
US work authorization without requiring sponsorship.
Availability for 16-24 hours/week.
US-based work location throughout the internship. Specific visa restrictions apply.
Active Social Security number (for I-9 completion).

Desired Characteristics:

• Junior or senior class standing preferred.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Finance, Economics, or related degree preferred.
• Prior finance internship or work experience.
• Interest in the media industry.
• Financial process experience (planning preferred).
• SDLC/Agile project management experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

hourly Rate: $30.00
