About the Internship
- Internship Duration: June 1, 2026 – January 1, 2027 (approximately 7 months)
- Role Availability: Full Time (estimated 30 – 40 hours) capacity.
- Schedule: Flexible, however weekends are preferred.
- Rate of Pay: $20/hr
- Location: This position requires the intern to be a local resident to Las Vegas.
- Housing: Housing is Not Provided.
- Eligibility: Must be a current student or recent graduate within one year of graduation.
Program Overview – College Internship Program – Marketing and Sales
Offered at U.S. based resorts, this immersion program offers participants work experience in one of our Sales Centers throughout the company. Interns will participate in a comprehensive program designed to foster growth and development within the industry.
- Activities Include:
- Comprehensive onboarding
- Operational duties within their assigned department
- eLearning modules
- Virtual meetings with company leaders
- Job shadowing opportunities
- Direct mentorship with an onsite leader
- The program is designed to last 3-6 months depending upon participant’s availability and property needs; however, this specific internship runs for approximately 7 months. Participants should expect to work a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities
This position offers a unique program educational experience focused on specific marketing functions and operational insights within Marriott Vacations Worldwide.
- Assist at our Owner Events department.
- Contribute to Customer Relations initiatives.
- Support Marketing Operations.
- Assist with Direct Marketing departments.
- Learn and perform the job duties of the position(s) within your assigned department.
- For example, in a Marketing Internship, the participant may be expected to learn and master the role of a non-commissioned marketing associate.
- Opportunities to learn aspects of commission-based roles, the sales department, and other related areas.
- Involvement in department projects.
- Learn components of what drives a successful Marketing and Sales operation on site.
- Opportunities to contribute to important operational matters.
- Introduction to and opportunities to demonstrate the company’s values and core beliefs.
Please Note: This position will not assist with digital, branding, social media, or other types of marketing.
Job Requirements
Education
- Candidate should be pursuing a college degree or within one year of college graduation date.
- It is preferred that the candidate is actively pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Sales or Business. Candidates who have an undecided major may also be considered.
Experience
- Prior Hospitality or Sales experience preferred.
- Past Interns who are interested in completing an additional internship will be considered first. Previous performance rating will be taken into consideration.
Standards of Dress & Grooming
All interns must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation Policy Marketing and Sales Standards of Appearance.
- All interns for whom a uniform has been provided must wear the appropriate uniform. Uniforms must be neat and clean at all times. Alterations to uniforms are allowed only if prior approval has been obtained from a supervisor/manager. Missing buttons should be replaced and tears or holes repaired before the uniform is worn.
- Non-uniformed interns should dress with good business taste and in clothing appropriate to their jobs. Good business taste does not include blue jeans, shorts, spandex pants, tank tops, midriffs, halter tops, or other generally recognized casual sportswear. Dress or skirt length should be no shorter than four inches above the knee. All interns must wear proper undergarments.
- Corporate office interns must adhere to policy EMP-20 Corporate Office Business Dress Guidelines.
